Every
month you will be receiving an email from us with tips and
suggestions for your DIY Wedding flowers, cut and shipped
direct from Flowerbuds growers to you.
As we head into the late spring months, many varieties of
flowers are entering the peak of their seasons. If your wedding
is quickly approaching and you are having trouble deciding
what types of flowers to use for your day, you might consider
the following:
Peonies. The short peony season is upon us! If your
wedding is within the next few weeks, you have the opportunity
to use these beautiful, elegant, classic-looking flowers.
Varieties come in pink, white, and red.
Tulips. While our grower has the advantage of living
in an area where tulips can be cultivated all year round,
there is still a cycle that tulips experience during the course
of the year. As we get further into the summer, tulips will
be a bit smaller than they are at this time of year, so while
their general quality wont wane you might choose to
take advantage of this peak time of year for the standard
Dutch tulips. Late spring is also the last time of the season
that our grower will have some varieties of Parrot tulips
available.
Roses.
As we get into the hot summer months, roses are going to be
harder and harder to ship well. Roses at this time of year
are just about perfect, and they can be shipped to most areas
of the country with no difficulty or chance of heat damage.
Gerbera Daisies. While these flowers actually do fine
during most of the year, now is the time when our grower is
likely to have whatever colors you might be looking for in
the quantities you need. Color choices include red, yellow,
orange, white, pink, hot pink, and peach. The quality is absolutely
impeccable with these simple flowers!
Please feel free to email me with any questions you might
have, or if you want more information on any of these flowers.
You can find pricing, availability, and plenty of DIY tips
