Zantedeschia, better known as the Calla Lily or Arum Lily though it's not a lily at all, is native to South Africa. Each long stem hosts a solitary flower consisting of a thick, yellowish spadix enveloped in a delicate spathe, most often white or cream.
Check vase water levels regularly as the hearty Calla Lily stems demand steady hydration. Calla Lilies prefer cooler temperatures as well--their peak season is February-May.
