Women's Day is dedicated to celebrating women and honoring their achievements by expressing our respect, appreciation, and love. The earliest Women’s Day observance was held on February 28, 1909, in New York in remembrance of the International Ladies Garment Worker’s Union Strike a year prior.  As years passed, and women’s rights further advanced, Women’s Day became solidified as an international holiday on March 8th. Today, it stands as a great opportunity to honor and respect the woman in our lives.
