Pincushions

Farm Fresh Pincushion Protea

Leucospermum--commonly called "Pincushion" for its unique shape--is a member of the Protea family and has been around for 300 million years. Pincushions are indigenous to South Africa and rely on Scarab beetles and birds for pollination.

Our growers in the San Diego area continue to introduce new varieties of Proteaceae to its new home in the US.
